Sketch No. 8 - "My couch is a sleep trap"

This originally was pretty bad but I brought it into photoshop to try to salvage what I could, though still some anatomy issues. I, too, was very sleepy. And now I believe I am up to date with this here blog. Only if I sketch and scan today. We shall see...

Colored pencil. Fail.

Sketch No. 7 "I'm trying to copy Coraline... kind of"

Skech No. 6 "Experimental Animation Sketches"

These are just jumbled doodles. I want to do a stop motion piece imitating time lapse photography of a garden thingy. But I can't figure it out!!!! Style, "characters," composition... hm.

No. 3, No. 4, No. 5

So my problem is not sketching daily, only taking the few minutes to scan and upload my drawings. This is me catching up with that. And I have yet to doodle today... but I'll post that as soon as I do it.
I think colored pencil is my medium of choice right now. Simultaneously considering color and design -- which is what I really want to be doing overall, for the rest of my life, forever and ever.

Sketch No. 2 - "CAND-E"

Homage to a recent Pixar film. Gotta find a way to keep busy in history class. C'mon, it's funny.

Sketch No. 1 - "Now What?"

So my first of many to come. This one is a sort of extension to an illustration I'm finishing up right now. A bug steals a cherry, but here it realizes it doesn't know what to do with it. I guess a lot of my sketches won't really make sense, but at least it's clearing some of the fuzz out of my brain! I think I may be the little bug, kind of intimidated by this whole posting daily thing, but I have to do it now that I've started. Yes.
